BENTON, MISSOURI - Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter reports a Kelso, Missouri man arrested on Domestic Violence and Weapon Charges.
Bradley A. Miller (50) of 340 Arlington, Kelso, Missouri has been charged with the Class D Felony of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and the Class A Misdemeanor of Domestic Assault Third Degree.
Sheriff Walter states that on Sunday, November 1, 2015 deputies responded to 340 Arlington, Kelso for a domestic disturbance in progress. Deputies located the victim, Miller’s brother, who stated he had been in an argument earlier with Miller at their mother’s residence. The victim left, but returned after his mother called him and asked him to come back, because she was scared of Miller. The victim stated when he returned, Miller pulled into the driveway with his vehicle. Miller exited his vehicle and had a firearm. Miller threatened the victim and was pointing the firearm at him. Miller started chasing the victim and his mother around a vehicle while still pointing the firearm at them.
Miller’s other brother arrived and began talking to Miller. Miller took the gun and broke it by striking a pole with it. Miller began walking away, but both brothers grabbed him and held him until the Sheriff’s Office arrived.
Miller was arrested and placed and transported to the Scott County jail pending the filing of formal charges by the Scott County Prosecuting Attorney.
Miller remains in custody at the Scott County Jail. Bond was set by the court at $5,000.00 cash or surety and no contact with the victim.
