Valdez, AK – At approximately 1652 hours on 11/2/15 the Valdez Police and Fire Departments along with Alaska State Trooper Beck responded to Glacier Haul Dump road in Valdez for a report of a woman with a cut on her face that was caused by a knife.

EMS units found a 32 year old woman bleeding heavily with a cut on her face. Valdez Fire Department transported her immediately to Providence Valdez where she was treated and transported via air flight to Providence Anchorage Intensive Care Unit.

Valdez Police filed for, and received, an arrest warrant charging Valdez resident CHRISTOPHER LEVI HARNDEN (DOB: 8/4/86) with Assault in the First Degree [DV] and Tampering with Evidence. With the cooperation of Anchorage Police Department, HARNDEN was arrested at approximately 1700 hours on 11/3/15 and is in custody at the Anchorage municipal jail awaiting arraignment on the charges.
