Marijuana grow results in arrest 
On October 13, 2015, the Upland Police Department received an anonymous tip regarding a marijuana grow in an industrial complex in the 1300 block N. Monte Vista Ave. Officers learned that the two suites in question were leased to Johnny Hernandez, 58, of Upland.
On October 14, 2015, officers served search warrants for the two industrial suites as well as Hernandez’s residence in the 1000 block E. Raymond St. Officers located 338 marijuana plants, a sophisticated growing system, and over $106,000 in cash. Hernandez was booked for cultivation of marijuana and possession for sales of marijuana.
On October 26, 2015, Hernandez pled guilty to possession for sales of marijuana.
