WFPD Make Early Morning Burglary Arrest
Early this morning at approximately 3:30 am Officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of Central Freeway in reference to a burglary of a habitation.
Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated 28 year old Antonio Hastings had just made forced entry into her apartment. The victim stated that once inside the apartment Hastings began arguing with her and then pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at her.
The victim was able to call police at which time Hastings took a set of car keys belonging to the victim and left the apartment. Hastings then used the keys to steal the victim’s white Cadillac DeVille .
Officers located Hastings and the stolen vehicle a few minutes later at Humphreys and Marconi at which time officers were able to take him into custody.
Hastings was transported to the Wichita County jail without incident where he was charged with Burglary of a Habitation, Theft, and DWI.
