NOTICE
Dear Valued Customer,
Please be advised that the Borough of Tuckerton Water and Sewer Department is in the process of the rehabilitation and painting of our 1.2 million gallon standpipe located at 445 South Green Street. In order for this work to be done it will be necessary to take the standpipe out of service and at the same time our water treatment facility will also be out of service. During the time that the standpipe and water treatment facility are out of service the Borough of Tuckerton will be receiving water from the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority via an interconnection.
The rehabilitation of the water storage tank is scheduled to begin on or about the week of November 9, 2015 to on or about the week of December 23, 2015. During this time you may experience lower than the normal water pressure at your residence that you currently are receiving. We are working with the LEHMUA to minimize the decrease in water pressure. DURING THIS TIME WE ARE ASKING THAT YOU PLEASE CONSERVE WATER, HOWEVER, WATER CONSERVATION PRACTICES SHOULD BE CONSIDERED EACH AND EVERY DAY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
