The Hot Chocolate 5K will be held tomorrow morning in downtown Geneva. The run will kick off on Third Street in front of the courthouse at 7:30 am. The course will wind through the neighborhood bounded by Seventh Street to the west, River Lane to the east, James Street to the north, and Fulton Street to the south. There will be many volunteers and police officers providing traffic control for the run. Volunteers and police officers will assist motorists in and out of the area affected by the run. Route 31 at Campbell Street will be closed intermittently to allow runners to cross Route 31. The delays should be very short. The course should be cleared of runners by 8:45 am. South Third Street in front of the courthouse will be closed until 10:00 am. There are some roadways that have been posted as "No Parking After Midnight" in preparation for the event. Parking in these areas is allowed until midnight. Thank you for your patience.
