SUBJECT OF RELEASE: Thefts from automobiles
DATE AND TIME: Sunday, November 8, 2015
LOCATION: Southeast Montcalm County
Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office responded to two separate complaints of thefts from automobiles over the weekend in Evergreen and Bushnell Townships, which occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 8th.
The victims’ vehicles were entered while parked at their homes. One vehicle had personal paperwork removed while the other vehicle had a bow taken. Similar thefts have also recently been reported in neighboring counties.
The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding these recent thefts to contact our office at 989-831-7590. Additionally, citizens are asked to keep their vehicles locked, watch their neighborhoods, and report suspicious activity to Central Dispatch at 989-831-3500.
