There are reports of a group going door-to-door in Fulton trying to get residents to sign up with a 3rd party energy provider. They may have clip boards or other items with "Com Ed" that would make it appear that they are representing Com Ed Energy. They are actually working for I.D.T., and may try to talk residents into signing a contract for supplying their energy at reduced cost. It is believed that after an initial period of cheaper rates, the rate is then increased to amounts higher than the customer was originally paying. They do not have a permit at this time.
