Good afternoon. On Monday, November 16, 2015 a project to repair the 2nd floor walkway pavers of the County Administrative Center will begin The project will take 8 weeks, with an expected completion date of Friday, January 15, 2016.
As you may recall, Phase I of the project, which repaired the west side of the walkway, was completed in July of this year. Phase II of the project will focus on repairing the east side of the walkway and the two bridges leading to the parking structure. The work on the east side of the walkway and the east bridge will take approximately 5 weeks, with the remaining 4 weeks dedicated to the repair of the west walkway.
The project will impact the availability of parking on the 3rd floor of the structure, as the entire east wall of compact spaces will be cordoned off for use by the contractor. There are additional compact spaces located on the 4th floor of the structure, as well as the ramp leading up to the 4th floor.
