LONG LAKE MARSH PRESCRIBED (Rx) FIRE – MANAGED BURN
Sunday, November 15, 2015 between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm
Ogden Dunes Fire Department plans to conduct the LONG LAKE MARSH prescribed fire – managed burn on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Residents and visitors should be aware of fire crews operating in the area, traffic impacts and smoke during fire operations. The Rx fire is part of land stewardship efforts to improve / restore habitat and reduce organic fuel accumulation to reduce impacts of uncontrolled wildfires.
Long Lake Marsh is north of Diana Court (~2 to 14 Diana Court) and south of Diana Road (82 to 98 Diana Road), Ogden Dunes, IN
