Today at approximately 5:30 am officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a possible robbery in the 100 block of Central Freeway at the Hotel at the Falls. Upon arrival officers determined that this was not a robbery but instead a burglary in progress.
Officers observed a light come on inside the building which has been vacant for several months. Officers setup a perimeter around the building and observed two suspects exiting the back side of the building. Both suspects were detained.
Officers conducted a search of the building and found that the suspects had stacked several flat screen TV’s next to the exit door. Officers also found one of the suspects to be in possession of items stolen from the building. Both suspects were found to be in possession of assorted hand tools as well.
ID was called to the scene to process and collect evidence.
The two suspects were identified as 40 year old Eric Jermaine Howard and 50 year old Anthony Dewayne Booker. Both suspects were arrested for Burglary of a Building.
