Former Teacher Arrested for Sex Crimes 
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at about 11:30 a.m., Corona Police detectives arrested Anthony Joshua Perez, a 29 year-old Corona resident for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and possession of child pornography.
In March 2015, Fontana Police Department notified the Corona Police Department regarding a child annoyance investigation involving Perez, a former Lee V. Pollard High School teacher. During the investigation, Fontana detectives uncovered evidence that revealed Perez was engaging in inappropriate sexual acts with at least two minors in the City of Corona.
Through the investigation, Corona detectives determined that Perez engaged in a dating relationship with a minor student while teaching at Lee V. Pollard High School. Detectives determined that Perez and the minor had an on-going inappropriate sexual relationship between December 2010 and April 2011.
