STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM
FRIDAY TO NOON CST SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER
IN EFFECT.
* TIMING...A RAIN SNOW MIX WILL QUICKLY CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW
BETWEEN 3 AND 6 PM WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI. ALONG AND EAST OF
THE MISSISSIPPI...THE RAIN SNOW MIX WILL QUICKLY CHANGE OVER TO
ALL SNOW BETWEEN 6 AND 9 PM.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 10 INCHES.
* WIND...NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.
* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS AS GROUND
AND AIR TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW FREEZING. TREES THAT HAVE NOT
LOST THEIR LEAVES MAY BE DAMAGED BY THE HEAVY WET SNOW. VISIBILITIES
MAY BE GREATLY REDUCED AT TIMES DURING THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL.
