WFPD Has One in Custody in Recent Shooting
Today at approximately 10:48 am officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a 911 call in reference to multiple shots fired in the 4700 block of Southwest Pky at Texoma Armory.
Upon arrival officers discovered that the victim, 64 year old Gary Barlow, and the suspect, 22 year old Charles Johnson, had sustained gunshot wounds to the torso area. Both subjects were transported to United Regional Health Care by ambulance for medical attention.
Police were advised that Johnson came into the store and exchanged gunfire with Barlow who works at the business. Police were also advised of a possible second suspect that fled the scene in a vehicle.
WFPD officers located a vehicle in the 5200 block of Professional Dr that was believed to be involved in the offense. Detectives were called to the scene. A Chevrolet Impala was impounded and Detectives began working on getting a search warrant for an address in the 5200 block of Professional Dr.
Johnson is currently under police guard and is in custody for Aggravated Robbery. Barlow is out of surgery and is being monitored.

The WFPD believes this to be an isolated incident with the business being targeted therefore do not believe the general public is in danger.
