Missing Juvenile Located and Taken Into Protective Custody
On November 20, 2015 at about 10:13 am Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a missing 3 year old female juvenile in the area of the 100 block of Hudson Drive in southeast Bakersfield.
When deputies arrived they immediately began searching the area and activated several public notification systems in an attempt to locate the girl. Approximately one hour after deputies arrived on scene the missing girl was located at a nearby residence in the company of her mother, in violation of a court order.
As a result of the investigation, the juvenile was taken into protective custody. The girl’s father, 26 year old Alberto Garcia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. The girl’s mother, 29 year old Nancy Carlos, was arrested for parental abduction and violation of a court order.
