A state prison inmate who walked away from a minimum-security unit in Pierre Friday evening is back in custody.
Inmate Meribeth Marrowbone was apprehended in Pierre just after 10:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
She left the Pierre Community Work Center, a Department of Corrections facility housing minimum-security inmates and Community Transition Program parolees, at approximately 8:16 p.m. CST on Nov. 20. Escape procedures were enacted and law enforcement was notified.
