On Monday, November 23, 2015 the Lindenwold Police Department along with the Camden County Sheriff's Department Special Emergency Response Team will be conducting a training exercise at Lindenwold Park. The exercise will begin at 1:00 pm and continue until approximately 9:00 pm The exercise will take place around the field house and concession stand, although participating officers may be seen in other areas of the park. The exercise will simulate an actual event so emergency apparatus (armored vehicles, mobile command posts, etc..) will be located in the park as well. For the duration of the exercise, all walking paths and fields located adjacent to the field house and concession stand will be off limits to civilian personnel.
No munitions will be used and no one will be in any danger. You will, however, most likely hear shouting and our loud speakers being used during the exercise.
