FREEZING TO SURFACES AS EARLY AS MIDNIGHT. ICE ACCUMULATION WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS BEFORE GRADUALLY TAPERING OFF
FRIDAY AFTERNOON. LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WITH SOME SLEET MIXED IN COULD PERSIST OFF AND ON THROUGH THE DAY ON FRIDAY.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS
AROUND ONE TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
* MAIN IMPACT
ICE ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE ON ELEVATED
SURFACES LIKE BRIDGES POWER LINES AND TREES. WEAK TREE BRANCHES COULD BREAK UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE ICE ACCRETION AND ANY UNTREATED SIDEWALKS AND ROAD SURFACES WILL BECOME QUITE SLICK.
