Monroe City Man Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, BAC .42%
Knox County – Last night at approximately 11:48, Indiana State Police and Vincennes City Police responded to a minor personal injury crash at 15th and Hart Street in Vincennes. During the investigation a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on one of the drivers, who was identified as Gregory Lee Bottoms, 23, of Monroe City. Further investigation conducted at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes revealed Bottoms had a BAC of .42%. He was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail where he is currently being held on bond. Master Trooper Jim Dotson conducted the DUI investigation. Vincennes City Police investigated the crash.
