Albion Public Safety is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Saturday night, 11/28/15, at approximately 9:00 PM.  Officers responded to the 1200 block of Highland St. where a 42 year old, female, from the Albion area reported being robbed at gun point by two subjects.  The woman stated she had responded to a Craiglist add to purchase a vehicle and went to meet the seller in the 300 block of W Ash St.  When she arrived she stated two subjects met her in a car and told her the car was not there and to follow them.  She followed them to the 1200 block of Highland St. and when they were walking up to the house one of the subjects pulled a gun and demanded the money.  The woman turned over her money to the subjects who fled the area in a small dark blue or black car.  The suspect with the gun was described as a black male, 5'8" to 5'10" with dark clothing.  The woman stated she did not get a good look at the other subject.  

Albion Public Safety suggest if you are making purchases from the internet where you have to go meet the seller, get a phone number and talk to the seller prior to going to meet them.  Try not to meet after dark if at all possible and do not go to a second location after meeting with the seller.  If you are buying a vehicle and do not see it when you arrive, you should immediately leave.
