The Absecon Police were dispatched to the La Cutz Salon on the White Horse Pike for a strong arm robbery that occurred at approximately 8:45 PM on Saturday night , November 28th, 2015. The victim, an employee, whom police are not identifying was leaving the business when a white male wearing a dark hoodie and mask pushed her as she tried to get into her vehicle. He took her purse which contained an undisclosed amount of cash from the business and electronic items and fled up to the train tracks behind the business. The employee was not injured during the robbery. The victim fled the scene and contacted the police to advise them what occurred.

The Absecon Police set up a perimeter and contacted Galloway Twp. Police for a canine to assist in the search for the suspect. During the search several items which were taken were found on the ground in the woods. The suspect was able to get away.
