Yesterday afternoon, an AEPD unit was dispatched to a suspicious person/vehicle call on Clarendon Avenue (1000 Block). Once the correct address was received and upon the officer's arrival, it was determined that a theft had occurred.
Resident advised that an air conditioning unit had been removed from the rear of the residence. The residence was unoccupied and for sale.
It was reported by a possible witness that two vehicles had been seen in the driveway. Both vehicles were described as being automobiles, dark colored and possibly a Chevrolet Impala, partial tag CCI. Only description given of suspects was that one was a female, nothing further.
Residents are reminded to be even more vigilant during this holiday season, reporting all suspicious activity, persons and vehicles immediately.
