*Update* Deputy-Involved Shooting, Suspect Hit, Imperial Hwy/Pioneer Blvd, Norwalk, #LASD Homicide Bureau
Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into a Deputy-Involved Shooting. The shooting occurred on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 6:33 P.M., near Imperial Highway and Pioneer Boulevard, Norwalk.
Detectives have learned that both suspects produced handguns and pointed them at the deputies. At this time, a Deputy-Involved Shooting occurred. One suspect was struck by deputy gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second suspect was taken into custody uninjured. .
Both suspects' weapons were recovered.
The investigation is on-going.

NARRATIVE:
Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are enroute to Imperial Highway and Pioneer Boulevard, Norwalk, to investigate the circumstances surrounding a Deputy-Involved Shooting.
One suspect was struck by gunfire. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second suspect was taken into custody uninjured.
