Santa is trading in his sleigh and reindeer for a fire truck and some Lewisville firefighters to spread holiday cheer throughout the city.

This annual event begins Monday, Dec. 7, and runs through Wednesday, Dec. 23. Each night, weather permitting, Santa and his firefighter helpers will drive through neighborhoods from 6 to 9 p.m. handing out candy and greeting families.

Firefighters from all seven Lewisville fire stations will take part in this year’s event. Residents can to track Santa online at eservices.cityoflewisville.com/santatracker
