No Impaired Drivers Found during Sobriety Checkpoint
Gibson County – Between 10:00 and 12:00 last night, Indiana State Police, Princeton Police and Gibson County Sheriff’s Department conducted a sobriety checkpoint on SR 64 east of US 41 in Princeton. During the two hour period troopers checked 70 drivers and issued six warnings for various violations. No impaired drivers were found.
The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
