Traffic Light Malfunctions at Highway 84 and Estates/Hewitt Dr. Please use Texas Central Pkwy exit until repaired. 
The traffic control lights on Highway 84 and Hewitt/Estates Drive continue to be malfunctioning and flashing red since this past weekend. This is beyond the CIty of Woodways' control and we continue to work with Texas Department of Transportation to get them repaired. We have been given an estimate that the repair may take a week. Please contact TxDOT at 254-772-1200 for any additional details/concerns. Please consider alternate routes to avoid this intersection such as using Texas Central Parkway exit to get to Imperial to Hewitt Drive until they can repair it. In addition to this malfunction, they are resurfacing Hewitt drive leading to more congestion.
