ISP Motor Carrier Inspector District Coordinator Kim Judge Promoted
Bloomington – ISP Superintendent Doug Carter recently announced the promotion of Motor Carrier Inspector (MCI) District Coordinator Kim Judge to Motor Carrier Inspector Administrator (MCIA) to serve the ISP Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division (CVED).
Judge’s primary responsibilities will be to manage ISP Scale Operations and supervise MCI personnel through subordinate commanders, while also providing direct supervision to the Assistant Administrator. She will also ensure proper distribution of applicable correspondence to CVED personnel. MCIA Judge will also be responsible to train, supervise, counsel, and evaluate MCI personnel and other assigned subordinates. MCIA Judge will also manage the Superload Escort Program which oversees all aspects of oversized loads that travel on Indiana roadways every day. Judge will also assist the CVED Commander with formulating legislative issues relating to Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.
Originally from Seymour, Indiana Judge graduated from Seymour High School in 1985.
Starting her ISP career in 1986 at the Seymour District as a Radio Operator, Judge was appointed as a Motor Carrier Inspector and assigned the Seymour District in 1988. In 2001 she was assigned to the Bloomington District until 2006 when she was promoted to MCI District Coordinator. She was then promoted to Area IV Supervisor for the Seymour, Versailles and Sellersburg Districts.
MCIA Judge is certified in several CVED specialties including General Hazardous Materials Inspector and Passenger Vehicle Inspector.
MCIA Judge is married and has one daughter.
