The Campbell Police Department is currently investigating two incidents involving a male attempting to lure middle school aged girls into his vehicle as well as an indecent exposure involving an adult female victim. All three incidents occurred near the intersection of Eden Avenue and W. Rosemary Lane in the City of Campbell.
The most recent incident occurred on Tuesday, December 8th 2016, around 4:30 pm. The suspect repeatedly attempted to get the victim into his vehicle by verbal threats, however, she ran away and there was no physical contact. The incident prior to this happened on or around December 2nd at 5:00 pm and was very similar in nature. Both of these incidents were not reported until December 11th.
On Wednesday, November 11th, there was a report of an incident involving a suspect masturbating in his vehicle in front of an adult victim in the same general area.
In all three incidents, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his forties with medium build, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. During the December 8th incident, he was seen wearing an orange shirt or hooded sweatshirt.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a red truck with a black work rack (the victim of the December 2nd incident believed the truck was white). There were possibly paint rollers in the truck and the suspect had what appeared to be paint stains on his shirt during one of the incidents.
The Campbell Police Department is trying to determine if the incidents are related based on similarities in the suspect’s physical description as well as his actions during the incidents.
