On 12-15-15, at approximately 12:18PM, Avondale Estates units were dispatched to a possible burglary call on Nottingham Drive. Upon arrival and initial investigation, it was determined that unknown persons had made entry into the residence.
Further investigation revealed that the perpetrator(s) had made entry by removing a screen from an unlocked kitchen window in the rear of the residence. Taken in the incident were electronic devices.
It was determined that the event occurred on 12-15-15, between the hours of 08:15 AM and 12:18 PM. Presently, there has not been a report of any suspicious persons and/or vehicles.

Residents are reminded that the holiday season normally brings increased criminal activity. Please lock residents and activate alarm systems in both homes and vehicles. Please be extra vigilant and report any and all suspicious activity, persons and vehicles to DeKalb 911 immediately.
