Last night Wichita Falls Police officers arrested 24 year old Patrick Farris for Indecency with a Child by Contact.
On Dec 16th shortly after 8 pm patrol officers with the WFPD responded to a possible sexual assault of a child in the 4800 block of Brookdale. Upon arrival officers spoke with the reporting party, the victim’s step-father, who advised that he and his family live in the same apartment complex as Farris and that Farris is related to them.
The reporting party stated that early that day the victim went to Farris’s apartment to retrieve a pencil bag that they had left there. When the victim did not return home the reporting party stated he went to check on them. When he opened the door to Farris’ apartment he found the victim unclothed sitting on top of Farris’ lap. The reporting party grabbed the victim and left the apartment to call police.
Officers located Farris in the 4600 block of Southwest Pky where he was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Jail without incident.
