Over the past several days, there have been purses and wallets taken from vehicles in West Southern Pines. In each incident vehicle windows were broken, or vehicles were left unlocked with purses or wallets left in plain view. This type of crime is preventable, but still remains the number one crime occurring in our community. These incidents have been occurring between 5PM and 9PM.
