Citizens Academy returns to the West Covina Police Department

The West Covina Police Department is pleased to announce the return of the popular Citizens Academy. The Citizen Academy offers members of the community an up close and personal look at how the West Covina Police Department operates. The program brings the community’s civic, business, and religious leaders together to experience firsthand how the West Covina Police Department responds to and investigates crimes in our community. Class members will learn about the various personnel, their tools and techniques which are employed to carry out our mission. Class members will observe all aspects of police operations including patrol, investigations, Forensics, S.W.A.T. and K9 operations to name a few.
Classes are free and will be held every Thursday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm for ten consecutive weeks beginning February 4, 2016.
