At 1249 hours this afternoon, the West Covina Police Department received 9-1-1 calls from several callers in the 500 block of south Vincent Ave in West Covina who reported a stabbing had occurred. Officer’s arrived on scene and located a victim with a stab wound to the chest. Witnesses advised two subjects were involved in an altercation at the location and at some point one of the males was stabbed.
West Covina Fire arrived and transported the victim to USC Medical Center for further treatment.
Officers responded and located the suspect (Daniel Luna MH/40 years of age) in the area and he was arrested without incident.
