Arrested; Danielle S. Topkok, DOB; 8/14/84 of Valdez was arrested on an Anchorage warrant for failure to appear in court on an outstanding Anchorage case for removel of merchandise worth $50.00 or more.

Serve Time; Justin W. Bedford, DOB; 3/14/72 of Valdez reported to the Valdez Regonal Jail to serve 12 days on original charges of DUI, and Driving With Licnese Revoked.

Traffic Hazard, An Anonymous caller contacted the police dispatch and reported a local adult male hiding behind the snow bank at Meals and Pioneer and jumping out in front of cars and scaring people. They were Concerned he might get hit. When officers arrived on scene there was no one hiding and juming out from the snowbanks.

Serve Time; Darian R. Kalchik, DOB; 7/08/94 of Valdez reported to the Valdez Regonal Jail to serve 3 days on an original charge of DUI.

Possible DUI; The Valdez Police Dept. received a call that a female was drinking and driving leaving a local bar, the caller identified the driver. Officers made contact with the named driver and determined that she was not intoxicated and had not been drinking.

Found property; A black Verykool brand cell phone was turned into the police dept. The phone was returned to the owner the next day.

Arrested; Tiffini N. Devens, DOB; 12/08/89 of Valdez was arrested on a $250.00 Valdez warrant for Faiture To Appear in court on a pending Disorderly Conduct charge.

Attempted Burglary; Officers responded to a call from a resident that belived someone had tried to break into thier house. Upon arrival officers determined that there had been an attempt to pick the lock on the door but the suspects where unsucsfull in getting the door open. This incedent is under investigation.

Serve Time; Michael H. Watson, DOB; 5/21/93 of Valdez Valdez reported to the Valdez Regonal Jail to serve 3 days on an original charge of DUI.

Arrested; Levi M. Terry, DOB; 11/20/87 of Valdez was arreste on a $500.00 Valdez warrant for Failure To Appear in court for arraignment on a pending Disorderly Conduct charge.

Burglar Alarm; Police dispatch received a call from a alarm company of an alarm activation in a city building. When officers arrived they found an open door, but no other problems. A building staff member secured the building.

Lost Property; The police dispatch received a report of a lost Samsung, possably at or near the hospital, the background is a picture of their kids at Easter. If found please turn into the Valdez Police Dept.

Snowmachine; The Valdez Police Dept. has received a number of calls this season of snowmachines riding on the East Dike of Mineral Creek and othe areas that are designated for non motorized travel. When officers arrived there were no snowmachines in the area.
The City of Valdez would like to remind everyone that there are designated areas for motorized, non motorized, skiing only, and all use in the Valdez area. You can find a map on the City of Valdez web site, search for Winter Trail Guide.
