In the past two days, Rockford Department of Public Safety has taken several reports of larcenies from motor vehicles that occurred during the night. Most vehicles were unlocked. The suspect(s) riffled through the vehicles and stole items from the vehicles. We are encouraging all residents to lock their vehicles while unattended. We also are asking you to be aware of strangers in your neighborhood and call us at 616.866.9557 if you see someone acting suspiciously or out of place.
