December Storms possible
Delaware County is expected to receive thunderstorms and/or high winds this afternoon. Stay Weather Aware! Parts of extreme southern Indiana have been upgraded to a Moderate Risk for severe weather.
The tornado threat has been enhanced in southern Indiana, along with the wind damage threat, and a hail threat that has been expanded in southwest Indiana.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed the southern half of Indiana in an Enhanced Risk, and northern half in a Slight Risk category for two potential rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and again in the evening. The main threats include damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes.
