MIssing Woman
Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department's Special Victims Unit are requesting assistance from the public in locating a missing woman. Detectives are attempting to locate 60 year-old Taliatha K. Bazemore of the 1800 block of Sawgrass Lane, Portsmouth. According to family members, Ms. Bazemore was last seen at 8:00 a.m. this morning and has not been seen or heard from since. Family members contacted the police when she did not return home. Detectives are concerned for the welfare of Ms. Bazemore because she has a medical condition that requires medication.
Taliatha K. Bazemore is a black female who stands approximately 5'6" tall, weighs 175 pounds and has a mole in the middle left side of her nose. Ms. Bazemore was last seen wearing light blue slacks and a white shirt. She was driving a 2012 black Nissan Versa with Virginia tags of VHS9687.
