The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for tonight and tomorrow night. A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent.

Clear skies and light winds, combined with a cold air mass already in place over the region, will result in widespread freezing temperatures overnight tonight into Saturday morning and once again Saturday night into Sunday morning. Temperatures overnight and early morning temperatures are forecasted to range from the mid-20s to the lower 30s.

Temperatures this cold can result in damage to sensitive vegetation. Outdoor pets and people remaining outdoors are at risk for hypothermia

Be cautious when using your heater, space heater, and fireplace. Keep all combustible materials away from your heater and fireplace. Ensure that your home is equipped with a working smoke alarm and a working carbon monoxide alarm.
