City of Sleepy Eye is declaring a snow emergency for the downtown snow emergency route only at 10 PM. 
The downtown snow emergency route has been cleaned and the snow has been moved to the center of the roadway. The reason for this emergency is for the removal of the snow from the roadway. Since it's declared at 10 PM owners of any vehicle(s) parked on the downtown snow emergency route will have until 12 AM to remove the vehicle(s) from that route. If they are not moved they are subject to ticketing and towing. Also please be advised there is more snow in forecast as there will likely be more snow emergencies declared this coming week.
