Here is the very latest forecast information. A wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain, and rain is expected to begin late this evening and persist into Monday morning. Snowfall will enter the picture by early Monday afternoon. The greatest impacts will be located across northeast Kansas into northwest Missouri, where a combination of ice and snow will make travel dangerous. There remains some uncertainty to the exact temperature at the surface, which a change by one degree could alter ice accumulations, so make final preparations now.
