Greene County Sheriff's Detectives locate 15-year old female missing from Miami, Florida since August 2015 after receiving tip from Miami Police Department; 2 males arrested, one charged

On 12/23/15, Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home located in the 5800 block of East Farm Road 168 in eastern Greene County after receiving a tip from the Miami (FL) Police Department. Miami PD Detectives are investigating a case of a 15-year old female who was reported missing since August 2015; they were able to determine someone had purchased a Greyhound bus ticket for her and she was possibly at a location in Greene County.

GCSO Detectives contacted 21-year old FRANK A. KROGH and one of his family members at the home on East Farm Road 168. While Detectives were attempting to take Krogh into custody, the family member assaulted one of the Detectives; both men were arrested and taken to the Greene County Jail without further incident.

"The collaborative efforts of both of these agencies helped to safely locate this missing teenager," states Sheriff Jim Arnott.

The Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged Krogh with:
1 - Felony count of 2nd Degree Statutory Rape
(warrant #1531-CR08351, bond amount $10,000.00)

The investigation is still on-going by both the GCSO and Miami PD; additional charges may be pending from either the GC PA's Office and/or the Miami-Dade County Attorney's Office.
