On January 2, 2016 at approximately 1 am, officers were conducting a routine tavern check of a local bar in the 300 blk of North Scott. While in the bar, officers recognized a subject, Charles Leon Williams known to them to have active warrants. Williams was taken into custody at the scene without incident. A search of his person after arrest turned up a fully loaded 9 mm pistol, approximately .090 ounces of Marijuana, 7 grams of Methamphetamine and $400 in cash. Williams was arrested for the outstanding warrants, Manufacturing/Delivery on a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
