This morning at approximately 9:35 am, Frederick D. Fegely age 67 formally of Ogden Dunes, now residing in Michigan City was taken into custody by Michigan City Police Department’s FAST Team and SCU (Street Crimes Unit) on Porter County Arrest Warrants at the request of the Ogden Dunes Police Department. Mr. Fegely was charged in Porter County with Murder and Arson (Level 2 Felony) in connection with a fatal house fire on April 16, 2015 at 26 Diana Rd. The fire resulted in the death of Mr. Fegely’s mother, 94 year old Wanda “Maxine” Wunder. Mr. Fegely was taken into custody without incident as he left his home in Michigan City.
