2 men charged after driving a couple from Bourbon, MO then robbing them at gunpoint
Shortly after midnight on Sunday (01/10/16), Greene County Sheriff's Deputies contacted a 26-year old male in the area of 6500 North Farm Road 171 who advised he had been dropped off there by 2 males he met in a bar in Sullivan, Missouri; he also stated his 24-year old girlfriend was still in the car with the other 2 men. During the course of the investigation, Republic Police Department had stopped a silver Chevrolet Cobalt for a traffic violation and broadcasted information to check the well-being of a subject involved in a robbery who matched the description of the person GCSO Deputies had found on Farm Road 171.
According to both victims, they met JUSTIN M. RICHARDS and WILLIAM A. RICHARDS (no relation) at a bar in Sullivan, Missouri and were driving to Waynesville. J. Richards ordered the male out of the vehicle on a gravel road in Greene County, demanding his personal property at gunpoint.
Republic Police Officers also recovered a stolen handgun from inside the vehicle; additional charges may be submitted to the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for further review.

1 - Felony count of Felonious Restraint
1 - Felony count of Receiving Stolen Property
