Officers met with the victim and documented a case of fraud. The victim conducted an online transaction to purchase a vehicle , sent money, and did not receive the vehicle.

Officers responded to a gas station and recovered a skimming device that had been placed on one of the gas pumps.

Arrest: 40 year old female, resident of San Jose
Charges: Under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined that the driver displayed objective signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of the vehicle yielded paraphernalia (hypodermic needles). She was transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 21 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Stolen vehicle, burglary, possession of stolen property, outstanding warrant
Officers responded to a report of suspicious vehicle. Upon their arrival, officers determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen during the commission of a commercial burglary in another jurisdiction. The driver was taken into custody without incident and transported to Main Jail.

Charges: possession of paraphernalia
Officers contacted two subjects on bicycles and determined one party to be on probation. A search yielded paraphernalia (methamphetamine pipe). He was cited and released.

Officers met with a victim who reported that a credit card was stolen from her purse while celebrating New Year’s Eve.

Charges: Driving on suspended license
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver’s license had multiple suspensions. He was cited and released.

Arrest: 43 year old male, resident of Hawaii
Charge: outside warrant
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined the driver had an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.

Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary. Unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and used the garage door opener to gain access to the garage.
