A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3 pm until 1 am Wednesday for a snow hazard with accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.
Light snow will overspread this afternoon and may mix with rain for a time. The snow may become heavy at times very late this afternoon and early evening before tapering off and ending around midnight.
Winds from the south at 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, temperatures in the upper 20s and visibility of one-quarter mile or less at times.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Slippery travel during the late afternoon and evening commute along with occasionally low visibilities and rapidly changing conditions are expected.
Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving. Please reduce your speeds, pay attention to changing weather conditions and give yourself extra travel time.
