UPDATE: Kathtleen Tucker located

Police are looking for 83-year-old Kathleen Tucker, who walked away from her apartment building at 444 W. 12th St. at 2:30 p.m. today, Jan. 13. Social workers were assessing her to determine whether she needed to be admitted into an in-patient treatment facility because of increasing indicators of dementia. When they stepped out of her apartment briefly, she left the building. Ms. Tucker told the caseworker she wanted to go to her former home in the 4000 block of Benton Boulevard.
Ms. Tucker is a black female who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray pants, a black leather coat, black and cream striped shirt and gold-rimmed glasses. She has no vehicle and no cell phone.
