Community Garden Event - 1/16/16 
Stop by the Mosaic Community Garden (behind the So. Bay Baptist church at 960 5th Ave. 91910) this Saturday (1/16/16) from 10 am until 2 pm to learn about how you can participate in the community garden or improve your own backyard garden.
The event will have something for everything with a presenter from the San Diego Master Gardener Association who will be on hand to provide information on how you can start your garden off right and keep it healthy in the new year. Community gardeners will also be giving tours of the community garden, signing up new gardeners and organizing volunteers to help fix up the garden.
Make sure to stop by the City's table to learn how you can save energy and water in your home and yard! Garden members can sign volunteer forms so make sure to bring students looking for volunteer experience.
