Bank Robber in Custody
SANTA BARBARA, CA – January 14, 2016
Jesse Blake Rogers, the subject of the SBPD Catch A Bank Robber 1/6/16 media release, is now in custody.
On January 12, 2016 SBPD detectives investigating the recent robbery of the Santa Barbara Teachers Federal Credit Union developed information that the suspect, Rogers, was going to be in the vicinity of Milpas Street that day. At 5:30 p.m. on January 12 detectives located Rogers seated in a vehicle parked in a lot on the 00 block of S. Milpas Street. Rogers was arrested for robbery and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail with a bail amount of $100,000.00.
Rogers had a shaved head at the time of his arrest, see attached photo; the previously released photo of him depicted hair.

Jesse Blake Rogers, age 25, of Santa Barbara, is wanted for the January 4, 2016 robbery of the Santa Barbara Teachers Federal Credit Union located at 3970 La Colina Road, Suite 12, in Santa Barbara. This robbery involved the use of a demand note; no weapon was seen.
A $100,000.00 felony arrest warrant has been issued for Rogers for the crime of robbery. If you see Rogers please call 9-1-1 immediately.
