Auburn Man Arrested on Multiple Warrants and Possessing a Handgun without a License
(DeKalb County, IN)-A 24 year old man from Auburn was arrested yesterday afternoon on multiple arrest warrants and for possessing a handgun without a license following a traffic stop by an Indiana State Trooper.
According to Trooper Brian Kreger, yesterday at about 12:30 p.m. he initiated a traffic stop for an equipment violation on a 1997 GMC pickup truck on State Road 327, north of County Road 56 on the south side of Garrett.
During the stop, Kreger made contact with the passenger identified as 24 year old Brandon James Robertson. Kreger learned that Robertson had been wanted on numerous charges out of DeKalb County. He was also found to have been in possession of a .22 caliber handgun without a license.
Robertson was taken into custody and incarcerated in the DeKalb County Jail without bond. He is preliminarily charged with the following:
- Possession of a handgun without a license, Class A Misdemeanor

- 2 Counts of Possession of precursors , Level 6 Felony
- 2 Counts of Possession of methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony
- Legend drug injection device, Level 6 Felony
- Maintaining a common nuisance, Level 6 Felony
- Failure to appear for conspiracy to deal methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony
- Driving while suspended prior, Class A Misdemeanor
- Possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor
- Possession of marijuana, Class A misdemeanor
- Possession of paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor
- Possession of marijuana, Class C Misdemeanor
- Possession of paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor
- Visiting a common nuisance, Class B Misdemeanor
